Our Roots Grow Deep
Empty Pockets Ranch is a small sheep dairy, with a knack for horses and a passion for flowers and fresh vegetables. We began our business and way of life in agriculture in the year 2013, when Lori and Josh first fell in love with the land upstate. Since then, we’ve been through many changes and have become a destination for our Sunflower Festival! Check out our events calendar to make sure you don’t miss out on anything, and for more information get in touch with us. We look forward to your visit!
Who We Are
Lori grew up on Long Island around farms and homesteads. She dabbled in dairy and herbs before settling on her own sheep dairy. Her dream was to create affordable produce for her communtiy.
Josh is a Veteran who continues to serve his country and community by bringing the farm's mission to fruition. You will often see him behind the scenes working on the next project.
Currently honing her skills training and starting horses in Florida, Madison was a key player in making some of our original products!
Joe has a knack and compassion for our animals here, earning him the right of being our lead handler.
Always into a new skill or hobby, Ant has launched many of our side businesses including our flower beds and Rabbitry.
With an opinion about everything, this young one can bark orders and show you how to do your job faster than any Management team you've seen.
